Apex Predator | Darwinian Voodoo | Drum Majorette.
The work utilises the tribal ritualistic nature of ceremonial military pageantry through the process of subverting their ceremonial attire by introducing the materials of human teeth, hair and bone that symbolise the collection and display of war trophies.
Apex Predator is a representation of what the sociologist C. Wright Mills called The Power Elite, leaders of military, political and corporate institutions who are at the top of the food chain and have no predators of their own.
